About Writers and Writing
We believe in the power of the written word to imbue meaning and joy into everyday life. We believe that every writer who is compelled to write has the potential to change perceptions - and change lives - by sharing his or her ideas, experience and imagination.
Writers are not born, they are forged. The art and craft of writing is mastered through perseverance and determination. Great stories and books become so through stellar editing and a personal commitment to create the best version of what the writer wants to share.
So if you are passionate about writing; if you want to take yourself seriously as a writer; if you dream of having your work published - then you will be among kindred spirits in the London Writers' Society.
We invite you to attend a few of our meetings. See if you think association with our society will help your growth as a writer.
Then, should you decide that our organization is for you, complete an application form and either bring it to a meeting in person or mail it, along with a cheque for $25, to: London Writers' Society Membership, 43 Becher Street, London, ON N6C 1A4.
~ Until we meet, may the Muse be with you
